John Robert Miroslaw, 58,
of Baraboo, passed away on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 at St. Clare Hospital. John
was born on March 18, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Casimir and Alice
(Gramza) Miroslaw. On May 19, 1990 John
married Deborah Gail Haynes in Bridgeview, Illinois. Together, they moved to
Baraboo in 2006 where John was employed at Oak Park Place in the maintenance
department. In his free time, John
enjoyed the outdoors with fishing, hunting and target shooting. Some of his
special moments included visiting Devil’s Lake State Park and enjoying the
scenery. John was a very outgoing
person and was the life of the party bringing a smile to everyone’s face. His
sense of humor and genuine love of people will always be remembered by anyone
who knew him. Survivors include his
loving wife, Deborah “Gail” Miroslaw; his son, Michael John Miroslaw; mother,
Alice Miroslaw; three brothers, Tom (Cindy) Miroslaw, Steve Miroslaw and Edward
(Joanna) Miroslaw; sister, Judith (Jim) O’Brien; two aunts, Rita Kawula and
Regina Gramza; three nephews whom he took under his wing upon the death of
their father, Jacob, Colton and Brayden Miroslaw; sister-in-law, Jennifer
Miroslaw; and other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his
father and a brother, William. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday,
Dec. 14, 2018 at Baldwin Funeral Services, 520 East St., Baraboo, with Fr. Jay
Poster officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at
the funeral home.
