Robert "Bob" James Gaedke
November 8, 2018
Robert “Bob” James Gaedke,
57, of Baraboo, died on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 of natural causes. A fellow brother in Christ
Jesus, Bob was born on July 12, 1961 in Fullerton, California, the son of Bill
Gaedke, 1924-2005 and Betty (Klein) Gaedke, 1926-1997. Bob loved helping others
and had an innate ability to fix almost everything that needed fixing. He also
enjoyed cooking and always made his world-famous cookies for his friends (they
really were sent around the world). He enjoyed preparing family holiday meals
and always made his classic pineapple stuffing for all to enjoy. Bob truly believed in
helping his fellow brothers and sisters, and felt it as a calling that was part
of his purpose here on earth. He served as Master of the Baraboo Masonic Lodge
#34 F & A.M. and the Wisconsin Dells Masonic Lodge #124 F & A.M. Survivors include his
older sister, Diane (Joe) Zirger; his brother, John (Janet) Gaedke, and his
sister, Patrice “Patty” (Vinny) Maniaci. In addition to his mother
and father, Bob was preceded in death by his older sister, Larraine. A Masonic Memorial service
and Celebration of Bob’s life will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018
at the Baraboo Masonic Lodge #34 F. & A.M., 108 2 nd
Ave.,
Baraboo, with Master Marty Blake officiating. Visitation will be at the lodge
from 6 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, gifts to the
Salvation Army or to the family would be much appreciated. Baldwin Funeral
Services, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bob isn’t feeling pain
anymore and he has a new job and a new Boss up in Heaven. His family truly
loves him and we celebrate all the amazing things he was able to accomplish
during his short life. We are very grateful that God blessed us with having a
brother like Bob and he will always be remembered and always be in our hearts!
