Marjorie
L. Rose, 69, of Baraboo, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 at her
residence. She was born on Aug. 8, 1949 in Mauston, the daughter of Victor and
Irene (Applegate) Winker. In 1969, Marjorie was united in marriage to Leonard
Rose in Wauzeka. Marjorie
was a homemaker most of her life and loving mother to her four children,
Rebecca, Katherine, Lyle and Bruce. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening
and visiting with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will
be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors
include her four children, Rebecca (Kenneth) Rogge, Katherine Rose, Lyle Rose, Bruce
Rose (Cathy Funcke); seven grandchildren, Abigail Rose (Trevor Tennant),
Stephanie Rose (Brandon) Coleman, Dillon Rogge, Kara Cook, Katrina Cook and
Tyler Cook, Devon Rose; five great-grandchildren, Easton Coleman, Alden
Tennant, Layna and Delia Coleman, and Jack Tennant; brother, Larry (Karen)
Applegate; sister, Janet Ganther; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and
friends. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen and
Victor Winker. Funeral services will be
held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018 at New Life Community Advent
Christian Church, 1919 Elizabeth St., Baraboo, with Pastor Jessie Stevens
officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until
time of service. Baldwin Funeral Services, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting
the family with arrangements.
