Nancy G.
Schneider, age 72, of Baraboo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16,
2019 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born on
Nov. 17, 1946 in Baraboo, the daughter of John E. and Margaret A. (Nuzum) Roche.
On July 5, 1969 Nancy married Jerald Schneider in Baraboo. From this union they
were blessed with three children, Todd, Melissa and Kristin. Nancy enjoyed life
by gardening, camping, traveling, bird watching and spending time with her
long-time friends. She will be truly missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include her husband, Jerald;
three children, Todd Schneider, Melissa Manning and Kristin (Nate) Johnson;
seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Brown-Smith; brother,
John M. Roche; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her
parents, Nancy was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret (Bill) McDunnough
and Kathleen (Edward) Terry. A celebration of
Nancy’s life will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Baraboo Country
Club, 401 Mine St., Baraboo, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for her family and friends. In
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation
at www.infoglioblastomafoundation.org
. The family would like to give special
thanks to Agrace Hospice Care, Dr. Thomas Rex Flygt and Dr. Rory Makielski for
the loving care and support given to Nancy during her final days. Baldwin
Funeral Services, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
