Kenneth Ken "Mr. B." Breneman

Kenneth Ken “Mr. B.” Breneman, 81, of Reedsburg, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018 at St. Clare Meadows Care Center in Baraboo. Ken was born on Aug. 15, 1937 in Portage, the son of Edwin and Helen (Lockwood) Breneman. He attended Pardeeville High School and then enlisted in the United States Army. After serving for over nine years, he was honorably discharged and returned to Portage where he was employed at Portage Plastics. In 1965 he was united in marriage to Ruth “Mother” Daniels at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo. From this union they were blessed with five children, David, Vicky, Tammy, Carl and Teahanna. I n his spare time, Ken enjoyed fishing, scrapping metal and living the family life. He made many great memories with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Ruth “Mother” Breneman; children, David (Marriz) Breneman, Vicky (Ahmed) Breneman, Tammy (Richard) Van Enkevort, Carl Breneman, Teahanna (Charles) Olson; grandchildren, Kelsie Breneman, Cody (Lindsey) Holsaple, Colton (Liz) Holsaple, Kailee (Dakota) Breneman, Ciera Breneman, Liley and Trinidy Fleming, Julian Breneman, Alexander Olson; great-granddaughter, Arianna Holsaple; and special friends, Kris, Jody, Cheryl, Audrey, Randy (Gretchen). In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his sisters, several aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at the Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, Baraboo, with Pastor Mike Amberg officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service with military honors provided by the VFW Greenwood Memorial Post #987. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of St. Clare Meadows, the hospice nurses and staff, as well as Dr. Stuart Hannah for the care given to Ken during his stay. Baldwin Funeral Services, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
