Reginald "Reggie" E. Haskins II

Reginald
“Reggie” E. Haskins II, 68, son of Reginald “Barney” and Effie Haskins, and a
lifelong resident of Baraboo, was born on July 1, 1950 in Portage and passed away
unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in
Madison. After
high school graduation, Reggie enlisted in the United States Navy serving from
1970 to 1975 and was always proud of that service to his country.
He married his soul mate, Ann Plouffe in 1973
and their lives were blessed with two sons, Reginald III and Christian. Masonary
became his way of life when he was raised as a Master Mason in Baraboo Lodge
#34 F. & A.M. in 2000. Reggie was a member of the York Rite, and was
extremely active in Job’s Daughters, serving as Associate Grand Guardian for
the State of Wisconsin in 2012-2013. Reggie
is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ann; two sons, Reg and Chris; two
brothers, Jason and Tim (Jenny) Haskins; sister, Sherry (Scott) Counsel; two
grandchildren, Robert and Robynn Leverich; as well as several nieces, nephews
other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reginald "Barney" Ernest and Effie Mae (Schmidt) Haskins. A Masonic Memorial
service and Celebration of Reggie’s Life will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Baraboo Masonic Lodge #34 F. & A.M., 108 2nd Ave., Baraboo. Visitation will be at the lodge on Friday from 6:30 p.m. until the time of service. The
family would like to give special thanks to the staff at University of
Wisconsin Hospital F4M5 cardiac unit for their loving care and especially the Rago-Baldwin
Funeral Home for all their help during this time. The Rago-Baldwin
Funeral Home, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
