Eunice Marie Mohser
Eunice Marie Mosher, 88, of Baraboo, passed away on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at Our House Assisted Living in Wisconsin Dells. Eunice was born on Aug. 27, 1925 in Hillpoint, the youngest daughter of Herman and Olive (Ward) Nachreiner. She attended Gilman High School in Gilman, and on Nov. 20, 1944, she was united in marriage to Gerhardt Hammermeister in Oklahoma. From this union came six children. She later married Rexford Mosher who preceded her in death in July of 1999. Eunice was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed sewing, baking, reading, bird watching and playing cards. She especially loved taking care of her children and kept in-touch with family and friends by writing letters and cards. Survivors include five children, Lana (Mike) Weir of Las Cruces, NM., Greg (Kris) Hammermeister of Baraboo, Curtis Hammermeister of Tennessee., Darcy (Gary) Cooper of Wisconsin Dells, Janet Rodelli of Boulder, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, Eunice was preceded in death by a son, Gary Hammermeister Jr.; and four brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at the Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St, in Baraboo, with Pastor Lisa Taylor officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment will take place in Sandusky Cemetery in Hill Point.
